• Dating from 1528 the city’s cathedral was built on the site of the
mosque, which remained after the expulsion of the Moors from Spain. • Inside can be found the Cathedral Museum containing a rich display of sculpture and paintings. Located next to the cathedral on Plaza del Obispo is the Diocesal Museum that houses a substantial collection of religious artefacts. |
